The popular LUXVISAGE eyebrow gel is causing widespread hair loss among women

Women in Russia are reporting eyebrow loss linked to a popular styling gel. Media sources point to the widely advertised Belarusian gel LUXVISAGE as the culprit.
The manufacturer promotes the product as providing a perfect 24-hour hold thanks to its “concrete hold” formula. However, after 3–4 months of use, many users have complained that their eyebrows began thinning. Hairs break and fall out during makeup removal, as the gel acts almost like glue. Some report that it is difficult to remove even with oils.
The likely cause is the aggressive formula — the gel contains a mix of film-forming polymers. Over time, such a film can dry out the skin, disrupt blood circulation and block airflow to the hair follicles. This weakens the brows and leads to hair loss.
